Ruarri Joseph

Ruarri Joseph returns this Autumn with a new album ‘Brother’ (Pip Productions). The record, Ruarri’s fourth studio album to date, is a record inspired and propelled by ideas of friendship, relationships and family.

Originally born in Edinburgh, the nomadic Joseph found his song- writing roots in the southwestern Pacific. A move to New Zealand, and the young Ruarri found himself coming of age in Dannevirke (population 6,000), an isolated, rural farming community.

At 17 Joseph packed his suitcase and moved back to the UK and settled in London, where he released his debut album ‘Tales Of Grime and Grit’ through Atlantic Records. Shortly after he quit Atlantic in favour of independence and so in 2008, he formed his own label ‘Pip Productions’ through which all his subsequent LPs have been released.

Inspired by Bob Dylan, the singer song-writer’s work has also earned him favourable comparisons to the chart-topping pop savvy sounds of Damian Rice and David Gray, artists which through no coincidence Joseph now shares management with.

"One of our best songwriters and lyricists" - THE TIMES "Dylan had he grown up in Cornwall" - NME
"A breath of fresh air" - OBSERVER
"One of the UK's top singer songwriters" - SETH LAKEMAN

"An intimacy somewhere between Bon Iver and Cat stevens" - UNCUT

Lily & Meg

"Intoxicating folk-inflicted pop songs that have the vulnerable soul of Stevie Nicks in a post-Mumford and Sons world; the maturity of their voices and material belies their ages." Lee Trewhela, Cornish Guardian.

Lily & Meg are proud and very excited to have recently sold-out their first headline show at London's St Pancras Old Church for the release of their live EP 'In The Water'.
They recorded... the EP at The Acorn Theatre, Cornwall whilst supporting Ruarri Joseph's UK tour in November.
Their first EP 'Songs For Jasper' released October 2013 and 'In The Water' are both available on iTunes.

Lily & Meg are a multi-instrumental acoustic roots duo blending banjo, guitar, keys, harmonica and vocals. Lily originally from Birmingham and Meg from London, they met in the South West town of Falmouth in April 2012 and sparked a natural musical partnership after discovering a mutual love for intricate harmonies, thoughtful lyrics and timeless song-writing.

2013 was a fantastic year for lily & meg. They performed at high profile venues such as The Bedford in London, The Exeter Phoenix Centre and London’s famous folk club, The Green Note. They played a summer of festivals, including, The Eden Sessions, Relentless Boardmasters and were invited to perform at Sweden’s Dragonfly Festival in Gothenburg.

They supported the Brit Award Winning and celebrated producer, Ethan Johns, on the opening show of his debut album tour, and completed their first national tour in the autumn of 2013, supporting singer-songwriter Ruarri Joseph.

2014 has kicked off to a great start for the girls – they were recently asked to open for Seth Lakeman’s sold out show at Truro Cathedral by the man himself, and they are overwhelmed by the response they received at their EP launch at St Pancras Old Church.
